Terms and Conditions
The Escape Vacation Week Resort Accommodation Certificate cannot be used in the same destination in which it was obtained.
1) The terms & conditions apply for all Escape Vacation Week Certificate holders. You can log on to the www.escapevacationweek.com website to access your certificate by entering your certificate code.
2) Your acceptance of a Resort Accommodation reservation constitutes your acceptance of all of the terms and conditions contained herein. You must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to reserve or use resort accommodations. ALL RESERVATIONS ARE FINAL AND CANNOT BE SUBSTITUTED, CHANGED, OR CANCELED FOR A REFUND, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY ALLOWED IN PARAGRAPH 5 BELOW. Purchase of resort accommodation insurance is highly recommended. Accomodations are limited to Villa del Palmar Vallarta, Villa del Mar Vallarta, Villa del Palmar Loreto, Villa del Palmar Cancun, Villa del Palmar Cabo San Lucas.
3) You must request your reservation no more than 180 days, but at least 24 hours, before your proposed check-in date. Reservations are available on a first come, first serve availability basis. Accommodations for holiday weeks are not part of this offer. Reservations must be used prior to the expiration date printed on the front of your certificate.. Certificates are non-renewable.
4) An e-mail acknowledging your transaction will be sent to the e-mail address you submit. A final written confirmation will follow by email. Upon receipt, please immediately review your confirmation and report any discrepancies to ncreservations@villagroup.com . Any discrepancy not promptly reported (i.e., generally within 48 hours of receipt and always before the start of occupancy) will be deemed correct. A reservation confirmation is non-transferable and may not be sold or exchanged for cash. Any attempt to transfer, sell or exchange your confirmation will result in its immediate forfeiture. Please do not purchase your airfare until after you have received your hotel confirmation.
5) Any reservation made through the redemption of a Escape Vacation Week Certificate may not be cancelled and is non-refundable. An exception may apply if your reserved accommodations are not available through no fault of yours and for the reasons described in Paragraph 6. In such instance, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for your reserved accommodations within 10 working days of receiving your request. Please direct such refund request to ncreservations@villagroup.com and provide us with the following information:
• Your name exactly as it appears on your confirmation
• Your daytime telephone number
• Your confirmation reference number.
6) If Escape Vacation Week should fail or be delayed in the performance of any obligation hereunder, including, but not limited to, providing accommodations, due to causes beyond the control of and without the fault or negligence of Escape Vacation Week, then Escape Vacation Week shall be excused from further performance upon written notice to you stating the reason for such nonperformance. Such causes may include, but are not limited to, acts of God or public enemy, fire, strikes, lock-out or other labor unrest, riot, explosion, civil disobedience, declared or undeclared war, revolution, insurrection, boycotts, acts of piracy, acts of terrorism, acts of public authorities, blockade, embargo, accident, epidemic or quarantine, and delay or defaults caused by public or common carriers.
7) Accommodations are limited to the number of occupants specified in the written confirmation. You are responsible for the acts and omissions of the individuals occupying the accommodations, including any loss or damage to the accommodations.
8) The total amount payable to Escape Vacation Week at the time of reserving the accommodations is the specified rate, plus applicable taxes and resort fees. Additional resort fees may apply for the Cancun properties. The specified rate does not include transportation, meals, all-inclusive fees, if applicable, tips, telephone charges, service charges, incidental expenses, and other items of a personal nature. Also, some jurisdictions may impose a tax on the transient occupancy of resort accommodations. Any such tax on transient occupancy shall be the responsibility of the occupants of the accommodation.
9) Upon redemption of your certificate, you agree to release and hold Escape Vacation Week and its affiliated companies and their respective successors and assigns, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and acts of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of the accommodations, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage. Escape Vacation Week’s total liability associated with your redemption of certificate shall be the refunding of the price paid by you for your resort accommodations. In no instance shall Escape Vacation Week be liable for any consequential, incidental or special damages arising from your reservation of resort accommodations or the use of such accommodations.
10) The resort accommodations may be used only for personal and non-commercial purposes. Sale or rental of the resort accommodations is expressly prohibited.
11) During the use and occupancy of the reserved resort accommodations, you and your party must observe all of the rules and regulations of the host resort. Violation of such rules and regulations may result in the loss of occupancy rights at the host resort.
